Join us for our 7th Vacuum Carburizing Symposium. Yes, it's hard to believe but our Symposiums started in Blythewood, South Carolina in 2002. Since then, they've gone on the road to places like Queretaro, Mexico, Port Huron, Michigan and most recently at the Henry Ford complex in Dearborn, Michigan.

We're "upping the venue" again this time and hosting the Symposium at the world class Michigan State University, Management Education Center in Troy, Michigan.

In addition to numerous technical sessions regarding vacuum carburizing and associated processes and equipments, we're providing a roundtrip motor coach ride to the nearby ALD Thermal Treatment center in Port Huron, Michigan. There, you'll have a full, four course buffet dinner with open bar under the big-top. You'll also have plenty of time for networking and, of course, detailed tours of the ALD heat treating facilities.
This world class facility is more than 100,0002/ft and features:
- Six (6) fully automated ModulTherm vacuum carburizing systems
- More than 35 vacuum thermal treatment chambers for Low Pressure Carburizing
- Nine (9) 20 bar quench chambers for helium and/or nitrogen
- Six (6) helium reclaimation systems
- Numerous examples of various load fixtures
- Various pre and post carburizing treatments and operations
- State-of-the-art testing facilities
As always, this will be the premier Vacuum Carburizing event of the year. We're expecting attendance to exceed 150 participants.
