We are a stand-alone company, able to leverage the long histories, experiences and designs of our parent companies.  ALD-Holcroft blends the best technologies of Europe with the best of North American into cutting edge, fully integrated and automated systems for vacuum heat treating.  Not just the routine single chamber vacuum furnaces although that too is in our portfolio, but the concepts of ModulTherm and DualTherm take vacuum heat treating equipment to their logical design pinnacle. 

Each, designed to execute based on process, without limitation of equipment.  Heat chambers heat, quench chambers quench, load movements are maintained separate from each.  This concept enables each function to be performed to its maximum capability without the compromise of "merged" functions such as heating and cooling within the same chamber.

History

ALD-Holcroft Vacuum Technologies Co., Inc. is a joint venture formed in 2005 between ALD Vacuum Technologies of Hanau, Germany, and AFC-Holcroft of Wixom, Michigan. ALD is a world-renowned company in the field of vacuum furnace equipment and has been in business for over 60 years. AFC-Holcroft is a global leader in the supply of atmosphere based furnace systems for more than 90 years.

The combined expertise of these two “powerhouses” focuses on the NAFTA region (notably the United States, Canada and Mexico) to bring high volume heat treating systems centering on vacuum technologies to the market.
